The company also has a massive product line that includes laptops, desktops, and smartphones. By 2011, Apple had overtaken Google in terms of search engine position. But the company still wasn’t done. In 2011, Apple started working on an entirely new technology. It was going to be an entirely new way to create content – a method called “iMovies.” In those videos, you could actually see the cars driving or the people walking around the streets. iMovies were going to be a new way to produce content for the iPhone. It was going to be exciting because every iPhone video was going to be a different iMovie.
Twitter didn’t just become a major player in online marketing – it became a major player in social media marketing. The company’s CEO, Jack Dorsey, released his first ever book in 2011 called “The Emperor of Social Media”. In the book, he discussed how he created the company and was inspired to start the company by how quickly Twitter was becoming a global phenomenon. In the book, he explained that he was trying to make the concept of social media less intimidating to new businesses because they didn’t have a lot of experience with it. In fact, he said that most businesses didn’t have a clue how to use social media.
